Our Story

It began with a simple sourdough starter and a vintage cast iron oven. The Vintage Baker was born from a desire to bring back the patience and artistry of traditional baking. In a world of fast food, we believe in the power of slow fermentation, organic grains, and the warmth of a community bakery.

Every loaf of bread we bake takes at least 24 hours to perfect. We source our flour from heritage grain farmers who respect the earth, ensuring that every bite is as nutritious as it is delicious. Our pastries are laminated by hand, resulting in flakes that tell the story of French butter and dedicated craftsmanship.
